MCABC Membership Benefits

The organization was formed in 1905 and has represented the mechanical sector with members located at every corner of the province.

Who can join MCABC?

Almost any licensed contractor in the mechanical trades can join. MCABC also offers Associate Memberships to suppliers, manufacturers, distributors, and service providers who want to connect to mechanical contractors. Additionally, Affiliate Members work in affiliated trades (e.g. Sheet Metal, Insulation, etc.) and Professional Members include engineers, architects, lawyers. accountants and other trade members.

What are the membership dues?

For contractor and affiliate members, membership dues are based on annual business volume. Associates and Professionals pay a fixed annual rate. Please Contact us for specific membership dues information, if you can not find what you are looking for here.

Isn't MCABC for unionized contractors only?

Absolutely not! Our membership consists of both unionized and open shop firms. In fact, open shop contractors sit on many of our committees and Board of Directors.

MCABC believes in furthering the mechanical contracting industry for all mechanical contractors in BC.

How can I apply for membership?

You can fill out our online membership form or download the application forms below. If you'd prefer, you can also contact our office , and we can send a membership form to you. If you are a union contactor in BC, please contact our office to find out if the union can pay most of your membership fees.
